TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely and accurate payment of Suppliers’ invoices ensuring any discounts available are claimed
Search, retrieve and interpret information from various systems
Enter data onto AP systems maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Resolve supplier queries by providing the right information in an appropriate format to meet the needs of the customer. Seek Team Leader advice where necessary
Apply key internal controls in all procedures for processing documents, ensuring correct segregation of checks in all payment routines
Maintain working relationships within the team and across the business by promoting team-working standards and displaying excellent customer service skills
Ensure all information / documentation is prepared and processed in accordance with specific deadlines
Interpret, analyse and apply correct VAT calculations to meet VAT reporting requirements
Recognise all currency types and ensure all payments are made in accordance with the appropriate documentation
