Job Description

The Asset Care role directly influences the reliability and performance of the line through planned work-streams. The ability to identify and prioritise work from historical data is essential.

An Asset care MT will be responsible for reviewing RCA actions generated from Top 10 analysis, MTBF metrics and MIR reports.

In house repairs are also a key part of the role, and familiarity with workshop equipment and techniques are beneficial.

An apprenticeship background would also be advantageous, as the AC Team will support the Org Capability programme for site.

An understanding of Engineering KPI’s is expected, and the ability to improve the availability and performance of the manufacturing lines through CI and RCA.

Activities will include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Ensuring that machines undergo the correct maintenance
  • Reviewing major incidents and driving actions
  • Identifying failure patterns to drive proactive improvement
  • Understanding Operational KPIs and trends
  • Experience of Packaging areas will be advantageous, Primary and AutomationAsset Care Technicians are part of the Engineering Support team.
  • They will be shift based and report to the Maintenance Coordinators.

  • Understands tolerance related to machine settings.
