UK Country Marketing Manager

carwow is looking for a UK Country Marketing Manager to join our Commercial team in London on a remote-first flexible working policy which means youll work from home for the majority of the week with 1-2 days max in the office (unless youd like to be in the office more, in which case you are also welcome!)

ABOUT the role

The Country Marketing Manager for carwow UK defines and executes the local marketing strategy & mix in order to achieve UK growth objectives, and to achieve UK brand objectives in terms of messaging, awareness, and consideration.

  • UK Brand Marketing StrategyDevelop & Execute UK Brand Marketing Strategy : Partnering with Strategy & Comms, develop Carwows UK B2B and B2C brand proposition and identity, the framework for messaging across different audiences (what do we need to say to whom?
  • and ensuring brand consistency across campaigns and communication channels Partnering with Head of Comms, develop and manage local B2B and B2C marketing calendar in order to achieve UK commercial & manage consistency of messaging across all campaigns Partner with Growth Marketing channels to build Channel Objectives for all Consumer and Partner marketing aligned to country targets and strategic objectives Responsible for consistency and quality of messaging across all consumer and partner touchpoints

  • Ownership of UK Integrated Marketing : Implementation of UK Messaging Calendar for B2B (supplier / partner) and B2C (consumer) Audiences across all Carwow UK Propositions (New Car, Used, Sell Your Car, Leasing) Gathering Inputs : Create process for x-functional input (Trading, Commercial, Strategy, Editorial) and prioritisation for calendar incorporation Campaign Execution : Create and implement process for providing central teams (Growth Marketing, Product, Merchandising, Commercial, Editorial) with data, assets and messaging for storytelling calendar implementation Internal Optimization : Define, implement and optimize marketing related processes for increasing efficiency and creating synergies between marketing channels as well as cross functional (e.
  • g. account management / trading teams) Channel Optimization : Partner with growth teams to leverage data analysis and best practice research to bring in new ideas for A / B Testing in different channels (e.

    g. CRM) to improve each channels performance New Channels : Partner with Growth team to identify new marketing channels with growth potential and run tests to validate their effectiveness.

    Reporting : Develop framework and communicate performance of Messaging Calendar for UK Consumer & Partner Marketing Programme Collaborate and foster strong internal relationships with the regional teams and HQ Stay up to date on important market developments, e.

    g. in the media, trade press and with the markets commercial team. Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and provide formal sign off if necessary.


    Example of responsibilities :

  • CRM Lead on local CRM Tactical Roadmap (so CRM team can execute)
  • PPC Performance review & brief on improvements of UK PPC Account
  • Sale Events End to end responsibility for success of Black Friday Sale
  • Partnerships Identify new affiliate or brand partnership opportunities (e.g. Sustainability), set up and monitor tests and scale partnerships.
  • Supply Affiliates with commercial insights, e.g. best selling models (if affiliate program grows, we will want to have a specialist.

  • TV Plan and manage the next TV campaign together with marketing leadership and external agency.
  • Comms Fortnightly syncs with Chief Growth Officer and sharing market general updates in Growth standups and team meetings.
  • SEO be across the SEO UK strategy, and follow up on progress and execution
  • YouTube assist in leading our youtube UK goals and oversee execution
