A market leading insurance business that pride themselves on the service they deliver to their customers are looking to recruit a Personal Lines Development Manager to support the business and contribute to the growth of the personal lines market share.
Principal Accountabilities :
Contribute to the growth of revenue and profit targets of the personal lines business - using key performance indicators (KPIs), across the whole personal lines product range
Develop, advise on and maintain personal lines sales activity to achieve new business, GWP and profitability targets for the business
Monitor marketing sales initiatives to ensure continued growth
Detail knowledge of the personal lines insurance market
Detailed knowledge of the intermediary market, operating models and competitors
General knowledge of the insurance market place and emerging trends in consumer behaviours
Understanding of the value levers that drive the commercial performance of an insurance business
Ability to build and develop solutions including business plans
Extensive up to date knowledge of all regulatory requirements for general insurance sales (FCA, PRA, CMBU, Ofcom, FOS) etc.
Understands and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements
Clearly communicates at all levels and shares knowledge with peer group
Understands and reacts accordingly to information being given via different styles
Ask open and probing questions to understand all relevant information in fact finding
Apply the relevant product features and benefits to meet market requirements
Express views and ideas with confidence within the team and in team meetings
Proactively makes suggestions and share ideas on how to improve processes within insurance
Works with other team members to pursue a common goal of achieving KPI's
Communicates views and ideas in a positive manner
Shows flexibility to business requirements - performing duties not linked to primary role
Fully embraces team KPI's and has a positive impact on results
Displays a positive attitude towards achieving agreed team and individual KPI's
Meets action points agreed in 1 : 1s and team meetings and with Business Partners
Naturally builds rapport and easily establishes relationships easily
