Summary

Smith & Nephew has recently invested to build a team to act as support specialists and SMEs for the Workday system. This role will work within the global team, being involved in multiple cross-

Essential Job Functions

This position is responsible for analyzing, maintaining and supporting the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Their primary responsibility and area of expertise will be in Payroll and Comp / Benefit elements but they will also be expected to cover and support other parts of the Workday system on a flexible basis.

They will help to ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee records and data, developing and maintaining system and process documentation and communicating changes to applicable staff.

They will act as a subject matter expert for the design, delivery and maintenance of their functional specialism and will be responsible for configuration and support of solutions for our global customers.

The position will participate in HRIS-related projects and develop processes and procedures to increase efficiency and to follow good practice.

The role will provide an audit function to support MSS, ESS and HR data entry in their area of specialism specifically but also in other areas of Workday.

The position is also responsible for customer support on inquiries and any changes that are requested from the team and may also be involved in change management and training activity to help embed good practice systems usage within the organization.

They must be recognised as a technical expert in their subject area and they will help to define the strategy and roadmap for their workstream, leading on large scale changes and projects.

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of the Workday system, preferably also with comp & bens
  • Ideally experience within an international and multi-levelled organization
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and history of project work
  • Candidates should ideally also be educated to University degree level or equivalent
  • Strong competencies, particularly with communication
