Rethink Mental Illness are looking for an eLearning Developer to join our External Training team. The External Training team play a critical role in driving forward our ambition to grow our mental health training offer by creating information and training that supports our beneficiaries and delivers on our wider aim of doing social good amongst employers and other agencies.
As an eLearning Developer you will create mental health related eLearning packages for a wide variety of clients as well as working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our eLearning resources are engaging, profitable and of high quality.
This role could be based either in our London (Vauxhall) or Birmingham (Small Heath) offices, but would also suit someone working from home with occasional travel.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
About the Role :
You will transform technical content into an engaging and interactive learning experience, testing implementing and evaluating e-
learning interventions for a variety of audiences / clients.
You will work closely with colleagues and Subject Matter Experts on the scripting of course content.
You will develop, source and deploy a range of tools to enhance our service offer e.g. video, webex, webinar, ensuring that these are up to date and fit for purpose.
About You :
You will be proficient in eLearning software, in particular Articulate Storyline and Learning Management Systems such as Moodle.
You will have extensive experience of creating innovative, engaging and effective eLearning packages.
You will have experience of audio & video editing and screen recording within eLearning and applications.
You will have up to date knowledge of current adult learner engagement tools and techniques.
You will have experience and proficiency in the use of xAPI / TinCan, SCORM, HTML5, XML, XHTML, DHTML, Java Flash, CSS and Adobe Suite tools.
