Job Description
John Crane Business Solutions is the John Crane Centre of Excellence for Maintenance Consultancy, Condition Monitoring and Materials Management Services.
This provides the opportunity for an individual, with the appropriate skills and interest, to play a key role in the development and delivery of this business stream.
As part of a dynamic team the Materials Management Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of a client project relating to materials and spare parts.
The individual will be familiar with material management processes used during the delivery of maintenance management systems or enterprise resource planning solutions.
They will have experience of the processes used to determine the optimal level of materials stock holding. A good technical knowledge of a variety of production and service equipment and materials procedures.
A practical knowledge of customer ERP systems solutions from a management, user, or implementation perspective. They will follow the defined John Crane process and procedures to ensure consistency in delivering projects.
They will have experience in the Energy or heavy industry sector and be conversant with quality management systems and their controls.
The candidate will be a team player and accustomed to working to deadlines and budgets. They should have strong data manipulation management skills with experience using SQL databases, Access & Excel.
