These brands are based at offices across the UK including London, Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester (Deeside), Preston (Leyland) and Halifax.
We are now recruiting for a Managing Director for our award winning, B2B brand, Gold Medal Travel Group. The successful applicant will be expected to lead and direct the Gold Medal Travel Group business area of the dnata Travel Group, encompassing the key component departments such as Contact Centre Sales, Trade Partnerships, Product & Commercial and Marketing, comprising circa 180 employees.
From a matrix perspective, assume dotted line responsibility for the Operations function encompassing circa 160 employees on a shared service basis.
Job Purpose :
Identify, develop and drive the long term strategic plan and enable the business to meet targets for revenue growth, return on capital and profitability.
In conjunction with the CEO, explore and exploit opportunities for product development and business growth the UK and wider European markets.
Representing the business in high level negotiations, driving business growth derived from the formed partnerships. Design and deliver the customer retention and growth strategy.
