The Regional Optimisation team has accountability for performance delivery across the Region. This role is accountable for managing all governance plans for the Region holding the Area Managers to account for delivery against their Scorecard objectives as well as operational business plans including goals, safety and Regional efficiencies.
The role holder will be the main interface into the Senior Engineering Area Managers to ensure adherence to plans and risk governance providing the overall Regional Performance for the Regional Director.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Accountable for ensuring the Regional Areas have governance plans on Scorecard, safety, financial performance and efficiencies are on track.
Ensuring execution and governance of the safety plan and providing subject matter expertise on safety performance.
Holding Regional teams to account for the successful delivery of the Regional scorecard and holding the Regional Area Managers / SLT to account to deliver their goals and objectives.
Own the relationship with the Central governance teams to represent the Region service plans and deliver regular Regional status reports on progress, risks and change control of the plan in an effective way.
Support and advise Regional based operational teams on the best solutions / practices for the business and the teams impact on goals and objectives.
Accountable for overseeing special off spec Regional Project outside of the Change and Transformation agenda.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Risk and governance experience of large operational teams
Understanding of current operational business (Desk & Field), commercial and industry objectives and trends
Proven experience of creating and delivering compelling messages to persuade, inspire and engage
Solid analytical capability, commercial and financial acumen, able to judge requests in the context of a wide portfolio.
Providing a strategic direction, ensuring effective management of an organisation and implementation of the strategy.
