You will be supporting and coaching analysts in the team whilst assisting more senior members. Role and Responsibilities
Apply advanced statistical / technical methods in the development of new initiatives,
Work pro-actively with other teams to drive forward and mitigate issues
Steer all developments through the relevant internal and external governance process.
Meet stakeholder requirements and overcome obstacles to deliver
Provide technical leadership to junior team members
Articulate findings, business impacts and recommendations confidently and effectively
Develop and maintain a network of contacts
Build understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative changes. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required
Educated to degree level in a numerate subject
Take ownership for delivery of individual key tasks
Experience of tailoring communication for different audiences.
Good experience in the development of risk models
Challenge all existing processes making suggestions and change where necessary
Experienced in the extraction and manipulation of data
Experienced and competent in SAS, SPSS, R, Matlab, C, C++, JAVA, EViews
Proven ability to work well within a team environment,
Good knowledge of modern risk management techniques
