We are now looking for a Health and Safety Manager EMEA, to complete our team.

Welcome to Michael Kors Loss Prevention Team

This position reports to the Loss Prevention Director of Michael Kors EMEA in London.

The Health and Safety Manager at Michael Kors is responsible for supporting the business to meet regulatory health and safety requirements.

His / her aim is to build and maintain cost effective and business efficient safe working and shopping environments in Europe.

The main responsibilities of this positions include but are not limited to :

  • Ensuring legal compliance with European and local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Developing corporate Health and Safety policies and standards, providing expertise on all safety and compliance matters
  • Working closely with Retail Operations, Facilities, Construction, Human Resources and other key business partners to better detect, investigate, report and resolve internal and external safety events.
  • Supporting and guiding the wider Michael Kors Loss Prevention team to create and deliver proactive health and safety programs which protect the company’s staff, customers and visitors reducing and preventing any type of health and safety risk.
  • Investigating accidents and ensuring actions are taken to prevent a recurrence.
  • Assisting the Company in maintaining a safe working environment in stores, corporate offices and showrooms.
  • Supporting and promoting health and safety awareness and a positive safety culture amongst colleagues.
  • Acting as the corporate point of contact with relevant internal and external stakeholders for all safety matters.
  • Any other duties as directed by the Loss Prevention Director.

  • A sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation across Europe.
  • Results-driven, goal-oriented with strong experience in retail and corporate health and safety.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to display a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
