The candidate will be primarily responsible to develop, utilize, manage and monitor the global Morgan Stanley SETI advanced instrumentation plant.
This includes the usage and management of all MS Dragonfly technologies, Corvil CNEs, CMCs and other appliances in a manner to derive comprehensive system and plant performance metrics.
Advanced understanding regarding the configuration of Corvil CNE channels will be required to meet business unit requirements.
Interaction with the Business Unit customers as well as internal technology teams will be required on an ongoing basis to ensure feedback about performance is delivered effectively.
The candidate will need to gather KPI and metric requirements from Business Unit customers, then deliver the appropriate solution within the tools to those clients.
The candidate will be part of a team that will evaluate, design and advocate for solutions in support of the global Morgan Stanley low latency, high speed trading plants.
The candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of the underlying technical architecture of the infrastructure and apply that knowledge to the interpretation of KPIs.
The candidate will be required to utilize multiple diverse technological skill-sets to create and manage to the business requirements.
This includes (but is not limited to) shell scripting, database interaction, front-end requirement delivery, Corvil channel configuration and troubleshooting, and high level process automation.
