Our client, a well-established business with offices throughout the UK are seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their team for a 6 month contract initially.
You'll be part of a friendly, and knowledgeable HR team, and your role will be to support the business.
Key duties are :
Manage a high level of complex investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters
Provide advice and guidance on a high volume of individual employee relation cases, ensuring these are well managed and meet the requirements of internal policies, best practice and employment legislation
Manage long term absence management cases including occupational health and medical referrals
To work closely with Department Heads and Line Managers providing them with guidance, coaching and support on all HR activities, in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management across the business
Work with Learning & Development Manager in the creation and delivery of up-skilling Line Managers in the basics of people management including first line performance and misconduct matters
Keep up to date with legal developments and advise Operations Board members, Department Heads and Line Managers of risk factors amending processes where necessary
To assist Head of People in the development, implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
Assist Head of People with the delivery of ad-hoc HR projects as required
You'll be an experienced HR professional, preferably with your CIPD level 5 or above. You'll enjoy employee relations, and will be passionate about supporting the business regarding HR policies, projects, coaching and advising.
Ideally you'll hold a driving license as you'll be required to travel to different offices from time to time.
This role is full-time, and will last 6 months initially however this may be extended.
