    We are looking for 4 x graduates who are passionate and looking to embrace a exciting opportunity working with Microlise to gain great experience as well as beginning your career.

    You will get the benefit of rotating around our 4 development areas and be supported by a dedicated mentor / coach throughout your first year and will be trained to write commercial code.

  • Passionate individuals who are excited about becoming a developer, who are eager to learn and who want to forge a long standing career with Microlise.
  • Predicted First or Upper Second Class Hons Degree in : Computer Science - with programming skills such as C#, C++, or Java with knowledge of basic OO Concepts.
  • Ideally you will have undertaken a Year in Industry placement
  • What’s in it for you?

  • Industry experience in C# and .Net with knowledge of MVC
  • Knowledge of basic OO concepts such as polymorphism, inheritance etc., taking this further with knowledge of SOLID principles.
  • SQL experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience of Agile Methodologies specifically the Scrum framework.
  • Exposure to DevOps
  • Microservices.

  • The role will be working 40 hours per week based in Eastwood, Nottingham and the salary range is £20,000 - £27.500 depending on experience.

    What does the recruitment process look like?

    The vacancy will be live until January and we will be shortlisting for the role around this time, we will invite suitable candidates to an assessment centre in February in Nottingham City Centre.

    During the assessment centre you will be paired with other students to conduct a number of short task and one group task supported by our current year in industry students.
