Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
Analyzing competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability
Tracking customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings
Applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on revenue and profitability
Collaborating with sales and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies
Developing dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends
Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff
Keeping informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends
We are looking for people who :
A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics or in a related field
3+ years’ experience in pricing or other data analytical roles
Knowledge and level of proficiency in the use of IT software packages required :
Proficient in MS-Access, MS-Excel and PowerPoint
Some SQL skills and experience required
Other financial modelling skills desirable; experience in Qliksense, Tableau, and TM1
Management and other skills needed : Attention to detail, team player, flexibility / adaptability to a varied role, able to meet precise deadlines, good communication skills and customer-focused
Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to tell a compelling story with data, with experience summarizing analysis and preparing presentation materials for executive leaders
Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to develop business insights from large data sets
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and contribute to special projects as they arise.
