Support Worker

I am a young man living in my own home and I am looking for Support Workers who can help me to reach my potential in life.

I have two staff with me throughout the day and night. I have been living in a residential college but now that I am an adult, I am ready to live in my own home with a team of staff around me to help me to learn new skills and live a meaningful and happy life.

  • I need you to be;
  • Experienced in working with a Positive Behaviour Support Model and use proactive strategies effectively to help me stay safe and make the best of my opportunities.

    I need you to be friendly, chatty and motivated; I really want to be able to do more things every day so it’s very important to me that you like to keep busy and are interested in helping me build some routine to my day.

    I need a team who can be creative and provide me with opportunities to experience lots of different things. I find it difficult when staff are not consistent so I need you to be able to keep clear boundaries with me as this will help me to engage better with you and build positive relationships.

    I find uncertainty difficult to cope with so I need us to be able to work together well as a team, this will help me to feel happier.

    I have good IT skills and I am currently teaching myself to play the guitar, I think I am really good at this so it would be helpful if you had similar interests.
