Job description
We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join a 24hr animal hospital in Hendon, London.This role is full or part time and offers flexible working hours dependent on the candidate, along with 1 in 3 half weekends.
This 24hr animal hospital acts a support hub for practices within the region on top of their own patients.
The position involves playing an important part within the team and holding a responsibility for external branches caseloads by liaising with practices in the surrounding region in terms of patient transfer for surgery etc.
The nurse will ensure exceptional care is continued by regular updates to both the clinic and client.
The Nurse would be joining a team of 7 Vets and 10 RVNS, SVNs and non-clinical support team. There is also mobile Veterinary Surgeons and referring Surgeons who visit the practice daily.
Collectively they have a wealth of experience and come are certificate holding Vets or studying towards a certificate. The hospital provides a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work.
They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres.
The nurses will have previous experience of working within a busy practice and they will be committed to delivering a high standard of clinical care.
Previous experience dealing with emergency and critical care cases would be advantageous but not essential as training is provided.
The RVNs will be confident with excellent communication and client facing skills.

You will have previous experience of working within a busy practice environment

Package :
Salary : Up to 30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
Holidays : 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
