This is an exciting career opportunity for a committed professional, which comes with the added benefit of being based within the beautiful county of North Yorkshire.
Do you have clinical nurse specialist experience in the management and care of patients with liver disease, and are you passionate about improving Hepatology care for patients?
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic individual, with a genuine interest in liver disease, to join the Hepatology team.
The Hepatology nursing service within York Hospitals Trust was established in 2014 and is an expanding and progressive service that delivers safe and effective specialised nursing care, to patients with a wide range of liver disease.
The successful applicant must have an interest in delivering high quality, evidence based care to patients with chronic liver conditions, in both the hospital and community settings.
Although team working is key, the successful applicant will be expected to work independently and without direct supervision, prioritising workload in a variety of clinical settings to meet the fluctuating demands of this role.
You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, organised, computer literate and able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with a commitment to continued personal development.
Ideally, potential applicants will have a driving licence, as there is an expectation of operating from different sites within the Trust.
As a member of the multi-disciplinary Hepatology team, the post holder will provide nursing expertise related to liver disease to colleagues across the Trust and community.
We encourage a learning environment in the team, and offer support with on-going training to develop within the role. There will be many opportunities to develop through personal and professional development.
