We are looking for

individuals with excellent communication skills, who pride themselves in the quality of care they provide to patients to work within our District Nursing teams.

Currently we have a vacancy to join our team providing essential care to the residents of Dorset.

The successful applicants will participate in the delivery of skilled autonomous nursing care to patients within their own home, and will gain an understanding of primary care including the management of long term conditions.

You will have an opportunity to broaden your range of skills and knowledge in managing the nursing care of people in their own home or within local clinics.

In line with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 anyone applying for a role which requires the post holder to work within a CQC registered care home after 11 November 2021, will be required to provide evidence that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless medical exemption applies.

Evidence of vaccination status will only be accepted via the NHS App or Website.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of £40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments.

Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
