Within the IOE, the Department of Psychology and Human Development brings together staff with research and teaching interests that encompass psychological approaches to learning, development and teaching from early childhood to adulthood.
We are looking for a unique and ambitious individual with a background in language and literacy. This individual will spend the majority of their time working as part our Research Leadership while also contributing to our teaching offerings, leading their own research, and supervising students.
This post is offered until 1st August 2024 in the first instance.Key RequirementsWith an earned doctorate in education, psychology or closely related area, you will also have a developing research profile, reflected in publications in high-quality journals and suitable for inclusion in Research Excellence Framework (REF) evaluations.
In addition you will have evidence of teaching and research specialisms in psychology and education with a focus on Oral Language and Literacy including Reading and Writing.
This should also include specific learning disabilities and dyslexia.
