The Department of Social Policy and Intervention (DSPI) is a world-leading centre of excellence for research and teaching in social policy and the development and evaluation of social interventions.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Officer to join an international research team led by Professor Lucie Cluver.
and 4) analysis to identify effective combinations of interventions to support adolescents in LMIC by reaching multiple SDG outcomes.
The role will be based in Oxford, though the postholder will work closely with our teams at the University of Cape Town and in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.
You will have a Doctorate (PhD or DPhil) in a relevant social science discipline, using quantitative methods and possess excellent data analysis and statistical skills, including experience with a range of statistical packages.
You will have a track record of excellent publications or papers accepted for publication, as well as strong communication skills and experience building collaborative relationships.
Desirable selection criteria include experience in conducting independent research and direct experience of working in Southern or Eastern Africa.
This is a full-time post, fixed-term to January 2021, starting in January 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter.
