Job Description

General Description :

  • Proactively retain, manage and increase Sabre SoW in the assigned customer portfolio via a clear retention strategy and growth plan
  • Assure the procurement of new travel industry customers in the remit
  • Identify the commercial needs of existing and prospective customers with a view to developing appropriate solutions that provide a targeted ROI to Sabre
  • Adopt an effective sales management approach to provide current and accurate revenue projections and pipeline forecasts to support business growth and ensure all databases are kept up to date with relentless focus on pipeline management
  • Focus on outcome driven activity leading to the promotion and upselling of Sabre products, solutions and services
  • Analyse commercial, operational and financial customer and industry data to identify and manage risk and opportunity for the assigned portfolio.
  • Use this analysis to ensure that Sabre business and solution end-to end processes are evaluated with stakeholders across the business

  • Negotiate profitable deals directly with customers and prospects to increase revenue and reduce Sabre dilution
  • Develop and monitor the execution of successful, outcome driven customer retention and development plans
  • Develop senior level relationships quickly and effectively manage these key stakeholder interactions within the customer business and the Sabre organization
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to uphold excellent customer service acting as a guardian of the customer experience
  • Understand the customer journey and lead complex sales in a highly consultative manner.
  • Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years business development experience in a fast-growing business driven by aggressive sales targets and a technology driven approach
  • Extensive experience to manage, negotiate and execute complex deals, with a proven track record in commercial sales and selling or promoting technology value solutions
  • Extensive understanding of the UK and regional travel landscape including competitive information, key trends, opportunities and threats, and of the travel distribution industry and / or IT
  • Exceptional commercial and business acumen and negotiation and deal closing skills in a SaaS environment
  • Strong networking & relationship building skills; Key customer collaboration & engagement for securing strategic sales opportunities
  • Proven experience in developing original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations in a competitive and ever-changing business climate
  • Proficient in the use of CRM tools
  • In depth knowledge of the travel ecosystem required
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Fluent English speaker required
