Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager join an established, rewarding Charity based in Stroud.

Role responsibilities will include but not limited to :

Line management responsibility for 4 members of staff

Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc tasks

Assisting with management accounts

Sharing ideas, continuously improving current processes

Processing payroll for approximately 50 employees

Overseeing payroll for approximately 100 employees (processing is done by other staff)

Processing BACS payments for expenses and invoices as required

Processing HMRC payments each month

Managing the twice monthly BACS run (processing is done by another member of staff)

Posting receipts to accounts system for payment of invoices for one of the sites

Calculating benefit in kind figures

Gender Pay Gap Report

Resident annual review figures for one of our sites

Placing money on deposit with bank and overseeing cash in bank for Head of Finance

Ensuring regular backups of accounts and payroll systems completed

Liaising with bank as required

Person specification :

Same ethos, values and organisational approach towards the trust and staff

End to end payroll experience

Previous supervising / line management experience

AAT qualified or currently studying

Experience working with a similar finance / accounts role

Natural problem solver

Excellent organisational and time-management skills

Team player with a flexible approach
