No previous experience is required. We will support you with a comprehensive induction and provide ongoing training and development.

The role will involve you assisting service users with their health and personal care needs. The duties will range from preparing meals and drinks, to personal care tasks such as bathing, washing and dressing.

You may also assist with mobility (using the appropriate equipment provided), in order for service users to attend appointments and take part in social activities and shopping.

As a requirement of the role you will be working on a rota basis including, weekends and public holidays.

You will have :

Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively with people with learning disabilities using a variety of methods to meet the needs of the individual

Good level of numeracy to assist service users to manage their finances

Ability to work individually and as part of a team

A full driving licence (preferred but not essential)
