A repuitable Global Insurance Company is currently recruiting for a Claims Data Analyst on a 12 Months FTC basis. Based in the London city office.
Works with Claims Management to build appropriate dashboards, scorecards and TPA operational analytics.
Develops, automates, compiles, and prepares Claim reports. Considers ways in which these may be automated.
Performs core tasks of information delivery, including collecting, collating and assuring the integrity of appropriate data for use in various reports within the Claim Department, by Underwriters, Actuaries and for Regulatory requirements.
Analyses claims data in order to pick out trends, performance concerns, cost control, leakage, data errors and overall TPA management performance indicators.
Reviews monthly bordereaux to compare against internal systems, to ensure contract adherence, to monitor claims fund spend and follow up with service providers where necessary.
To be considered you must have a high standard of excel experience ideally in a financial services environment where you are used to dealing with high levels of key data.
Experience of using reporting tools such as business objects, SQL or Microstrategy would be advantageous
You must be able to quickly grasp technical knowledge of a system to be able to respond to business needs in a timely manner.
You will work with large amounts of detailed information and therefore must be able to focus on achieving a consistent high standard of quality and accuracy.
You must have a claims background, or claims analytical background and be able to present findings based on data sets in respect of performance and financial details.
Claims Handling experience in a London Market Insurer, Managing Agent or Lloyd s Broker is preferable.
Knowledge in Multiple Lines of Business with an in depth knowledge of UK, EU and US property and liability claims.
An understanding of Delegated Authority Underwriting and Third Party Claims Administration would be an advantage
