The Construction Administrator will provide an effective administrative and secretarial service for the Construction Director and Construction Managers and support the site teams in terms of effective set up and running of the site offices.

To ensure the administration function operates in an effective manner, to enhance the ability of the department to achieve its objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Production of all required documentation to a high standard and within agreed timescales. This includes;
  • Updating of Progress Reports (WIP)
  • Maintenance of up-to-date construction programmes on shared drive.
  • Maintenance & Updating of Axapta in line with Sales Build Document
  • Liaison with Site Management on Approvals
  • Preparation of Board Reports
  • Collation, Distribution & Display of Team KPI’s
  • Collation, Distribution & Display of H&S info and reports
  • Liaison with NHBC
  • Monitor all weekly Construction paperwork
  • Other roles and duties consist of;
  • Ensuring consistent and effective set-up and running of site offices through liaising with site management teams, together with periodic site visits
  • Co-ordination of departmental absence records
  • Liaison with HR on all training requirements and maintenance of Training Tracker.
  • Liaison on Recruitment requirements, induction preparation & staff uniforms.
  • Coordination of holiday planner
  • Secretarial Support to the Construction Team which includes Coordination of team meetings, diaries, presentations, agendas, minutes, letters, memos and reports
  • Management of stationary requirements
  • Invoice coding where appropriate
  • Filing of critical documentation
  • Essential Technical Expertise

  • High level of IT skills
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organisational skills
  • Ability to work to tight timescales with minimum supervision
  • Desirable Technical Expertise
