Your field of responsibility

The role responsibilities include :

  • Technical and management leadership for team in EMEA supporting a large strategic risk management platform (EDA). Responsible for Cloud Infrastructure, Applications, and Operational support.
  • Provides all levels of support to business partners for production and non-production, manage all environments, releases, activities, problems.
  • Most of EDA is on public cloud with upstream and downstream systems and users on premise.

  • Transform operating model to SRE type processes and drive efficiency gains from modern cloud architecture, applications, tools and data driven processes.

  • Business partners in Front Office, Middle Office, Quantitative Strategists, as well as Strategic Risk Management, Market & Credit Risk Officers and Product Control.
  • Partner with support leads in other global regions, and with Developers and other Stakeholders across various business and technology units including Product Controllers, Developers, Quality Analysts, Project Managers and Support Teams, to manage and ensure successful delivery and on-boarding of Technology projects.

  • Other global Support teams such as FID Rates, Credit & EMG Risk, Equities as well as FID MDS Support who provide Market Data support to the Investment Bank.

    Your skills and experience

    We are looking for :

  • Experience leading operations team with infrastructure on Public Cloud preferably AWS / Snowflake (PaaS and IaaS) with proven track record of software development, infrastructure and tools integration skills.
  • Technologies : UNIX, UNIX scripting, JMX, Database, Petabyte sized Object Store Database Technologies a plus, Windows a plus.
  • Proven experience / knowledge of Infrastructure (Servers, Databases, Virtualization, Networking, Security, Disaster Recovery etc.).
  • Experience / knowledge of wide range of modern tools : Hashicorp Products (Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform) ELK, Docker, SQL, Python, XLM, HBase, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Octopus, EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Watch, Cloudera).
  • Results-oriented individual who demonstrates ability to plan and lead complex activities / projects. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Desired :

  • Specific experience in a group practising SRE is a plus.
  • Experience working in a Global Investment Bank.
