About the role
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of routine building, maintenance and repair jobs, with minimum disruption to the care home
Your key duties will include checking electrical items brought into the home by our residents, oversee heating systems, fire alarm checks, refrigeration and general electrics
You will be accountable for compliance with the Health and Safety At Work Act, COSHH, service contract and inspections
Occasionally, you will be required to respond to off duty emergencies within the home
In our larger homes you will supervise the Maintenance Assistants
Who we’re looking for
Friendly and approachable, you will have previous experience of working in a maintenance role.
You will understand the importance of keeping high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, pleasant and comfortable environment.

Beacher Hall provides very specialist care for the young physically disabled and those suffering from brain injuries as a result of an accident or disease.
We also care for residents with Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis as well as the ability to offer care for younger residents with life-limiting diseases.
