Due to growth plans we have an exciting opportunity for a new Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a strong and motivated team of ten which includes Area Sales Reps, Key Account Managers and a Regional Sales Office, whilst ensuring we continue to grow our sales and profit opportunities across the network of branches across Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire.
Principle Accountabilities :
Training and developing the sales team to maximise performance and deliver on agreed financial targets.
Work in conjunction with the Regional Director and Branch Sales Teams, in order to improve our in branch selling culture, and to support sales growth plans across the sub region.
Ensure the sub-region and team sales goals are achieved through the effective recruitment, training, development and motivation of sales professionals.
Ensuring sales territories are organised to maximise the effectiveness of the sales team resource and to provide optimum coverage of the allocated customer base.
Proactively leading the development of customer specific action plans in conjunction with relevant team members and other key stakeholders.
eviewing and reporting sales, margin and team / individual specific key performance data, providing appropriate feedback and acting upon areas requiring improvement.
Actively calling on sub-regional key customers, spending at least 75% of time in the field independently and with the team.
Develop an understanding of all major sites across the sub-region, whilst executing robust plans to maximise our selling opportunities.

Good time management skills are essential in order to drive the business forward by improving sales and profit performance.
Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret information will also be key along with previous people management experience.
Strong leadership, be able to motivate and engage the teams, ensure that succession planning is being used to drive talent sustainability, coach and mentor direct reports rising stars.
