You will be responsible for protecting the Group's IT environment from cyber attacks. In this role you will implement and improve on threat protection measures and security controls.
Monitoring security access, conducting assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis will be core to the role.
You will also need to perform both internal and external audits, analysing any breaches to identify root cause. Improvement is ongoing and you will be continuously updating the company’s incident response and disaster recovery plans whilst verifying the security of third-party suppliers to ensure that all IT security requirements are met.
This role also involves researching upcoming IT trends, developing IT policies, creating contingency plans and educating the rest of the company on IT security measures.
Someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in the information security field. Specifically you will need :
Ideally it would be great if you are a Certified Ethical Hacker, have ITIL accreditation and be a CISCO certified Network Associate / CCNP security.
Having great attention to detail, a logical approach and a 'can do' innovative attitude will help you suceed.
