The role of Scrum Master will be vital to this objective and, thereby, the overall growth of our business. Your Scrum Master scope will serve one to three scrum teams, all working with an Agile approach to deliver value across internal IT platforms to internal business customers.
You will foster an environment of teamwork and empowerment, leveraging your technical understanding and interpersonal skills to unleash the full potential of your teams.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Tech, Vendors and Business Partners to effectively deliver high quality outcomes, manage risks, and provide updates to Leadership and Stakeholders
Facilitate Daily Scrum, Refinement, Planning, and Retrospective according to NB IT Best Practices, ensuring the intent and outcomes are consistently achieved
Introduce / Lead / Coach the Team to educate, drive, and mature agile delivery
Coordinate internal resources and work with third party vendors
Guide teams to find solutions that are effective and meet business needs
Create metric and content dashboards to assist Team insight into sprint and deliverable status
Develop expertise on industry trends and the IT ecosystem to improve policies and procedures
Collaborate with global IT Agile organization to contribute to NB agile outcomes, initiatives, and improvements
Provide agile tooling guidance to Team
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
Either have, or be willing to seek Scrum Master Certification from an accredited source
5+ years experience, including 2 years experience as a Scrum Master
Advanced understanding and application of agile principles and scrum / kanban methodology
Understanding of / hands-on experience with software development life cycle
Demonstrated servant leader mindset
SAFe experience not required, but advantage
