POSITION SUMMARY : This position requires an associate that has a strong attention to detail, is an analytical thinker, and works well in a team-
oriented environment. This person is responsible for the execution of allocations to support merchandise assortments across multiple Lululemon channels and stores including Ecom.
They are responsible for maintaining appropriate by store inventory levels by department / class / sku to maximize profitability in order to meet sales and gross margin goals.
They will collaborate with their respective merchandising team to develop sku assortments and allocation strategies for each of their merchandise classifications.
They will execute these strategies by primarily using Advanced Arthur Allocation and will be required to use other analytical tools to develop these strategies.
This person will be responsible for managing the flow of inventory out of the distribution centers and making sound recommendations on replenishment.
They will also be responsible to recommend Exit strategies based on their knowledge of store selling patterns. The allocator will be the primary driver of managing and controlling inventory at the store / sku / size level for their respective areas.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Work with Merchandising team to develop and manage allocation strategies for Lulu product by channel and location.
Manage initial allocation and replenishment out of the Distribution Center, pre-allocations and other potential receipt methods in conjunction with the strategy
Build and maintain appropriate inventory levels in each new store
Maintain the appropriate mix by department / class, style, color and size in each store in order to achieve budgeted turn rate and gross margin.
Analyze and react to individual store trend and the performance of store groupings to better flow merchandise and allocate inventory replenishment.
Consolidate, analyze and communicate size and location-based selling, including sales / inventory comparisons to affect allocations.
Master size analysis to optimize buy & allocation
Ad Hoc product / store analysis as required
ADDITIONAL SKILL SETS :

Participate in cross-functional meetings.
Share best practices and develop systems knowledge
JOB SPECIFICATIONS :
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience with Allocation tools ideal
Proven excellence in identifying and communicating business insights to middle and upper management
Expert knowledge of Excel
Demonstrate good listening, written and oral communication skills, effectively and clearly communicates, reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency.
Strong independent thinking, ability to work in teams, and willingness to challenge others
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This position will work one 3-hour shift per month on the retail floor
