Job Overview

Through the creation and implementation of innovative and value adding marketing campaigns you will achieve the targeted sales, profit and market share objectives for the large animal prescription medicine product portfolio across the UK.

Main Activities / Tasks :

  • Develop and implement high quality marketing campaigns and programmes in line with marketing strategy
  • Manage all costs in line with budgets and latest estimates
  • Work with supply chain and finance to develop accurate regular rolling production forecasts and stock control, as well as annual sales forecasts
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key opinion leaders and key customers
  • Manage internal and external agencies as require
  • Work closely alongside sales teams and technical services to provide the best possible support
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by management
  • Essential Criteria :

  • Educated to degree level in a science related discipline or equivalent
  • At least two years of marketing, sales or product management experience
  • Experience of creating and implementing value add marketing campaigns
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Desirable Criteria :

  • At least two years’ experience of working in the farming / large animal / veterinary sector
  • Experience of forecasting and stock management
  • Duration : Full Time, Permanent
