We are looking for candidates who have the ability to support children aged 4-18 with varying SEN including Autism, Down Syndrome, PMLD, ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.
You should be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to caring for young people. As a Teaching Assistant
you will be expected to provide personal care and also support through a variety of classroom-based activities and lessons including sensory learning and outdoor play.
The young people should be at the heart of everything you do. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you will assist with their physical and emotional needs whilst championing their dignity and respecting their independence.
You will initially be employed on a supply basis, whilst we endeavour to find a longer term / permanent role for you.
The working hours will generally be 8 : 30 3 : 30 and the starting salary is GBP10 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
