An exciting opportunity has arisen due to current post holders promotion within Sussex partnership NHS trust, to work within a friendly , dynamic eating disorder service.
SEDS is a small team delivering care and support to adults in the community with eating disorders across Sussex.
As team secretary the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team and will act as the first point of contact for service users and staff, and must therefore demonstrate excellent communication skills when dealing with vulnerable individuals.
They will provide secretarial services for the team, including audio-typing, processing referrals, handling enquiries about the service, the preparation of agendas and minutes if required, supporting the team with the management of projects, and providing IT support to staff.
The successful candidate will also need to work closely with the team administrator and team leader who will oversee their workload.
The role will require proven organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. The post holder will eventually need to be able to work without supervision and prioritize their workload using their own initiative.
Excellent communication, administration and IT skills are essential for this role, along with high levels of motivation, enthusiasm and a can do’ attitude.
