Leading Lloyds Broker with an international footprint and excellent reputation in the market are looking for someone to join their busy team in the City of London.
Overview of Role
The role provides claim advice and collection support and involves the completion of claim details in the broker operating system;
validation of claims against the risk contractual documentation; the accurate processing of advices and collection of claims and associated reinstatements.
Ensure that own work and the work of the Claims Technicians overseas is processed accurately and in accordance with internal and external KPIs / SLAs.
Assisting Claims Technicians and Senior Claims Technicians overseas with technical queries and troubleshooting claims systems issues.
Claims Management and Processing
Analysis of initial and subsequent claim advices and settlements.
Process claims and reinstatements as per internal systems : enter claim advice and settlement data onto the operating system (as relevant) or prepare an instruction sheet for the Mumbai team to enter details into the operating system.
Processing on CLASS, ECF and A&S.
Manage the Claim - monitoring responses from reinsurers.
Monitor LORS responses as applicable.
Dealing with static file update requests / Japanese status requests.
Liaise with Clients, Underwriters and Placing Brokers to resolve queries.
Produce claims statistics as required.
Participate in presentations and meetings with Clients and Reinsurers as required.
Responsible for ensuring timely payments to Clients and to liaise with IBA as appropriate
Processing reinsurance claims within a broker or a reinsurer.
A good understanding and processing capability of CLASS, IMR and LORS.
Experience with Open TWINS would be desirable.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools specifically Excel and Word.
Strong understanding of Reinsurance principles, Reinsurance contracts and market practices.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
