Position Summary

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at St Pancras you are responsible for the supervising of the room attendants and laundry team.

You’ll need to know your stuff :

  • Keeps the Housekeeping team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.
  • Ensures guestrooms, public space and ambassador areas are cleaned according to operating standards.
  • Ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
  • Establishes goals and objectives for all areas of responsibility.
  • Directs staff to strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.
  • Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms; public areas; ambassador work and locker areas;
  • storage areas; recreation areas; laundry areas; garage and grounds.

  • Develops hotel general cleaning schedule and manages execution of work.
  • Understands and communicates to staff the operating and maintenance procedures of all departmental equipment.
  • Supervises and approves the budgeting and ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies.
  • To be aware of hotel’s layout and facilities.
  • Ensure all rooms correspond with lists given, reporting any discrepancies immediately to housekeeper.
  • Clean every room to the highest standards.
  • Reports any maintenance issues immediately
  • Complies with COSHH and Health and Safety Standards.
  • Follows the lost property procedures.
  • Complies with Brand Standards when cleaning and getting each room ready for the guest arrival.
  • You’ll be expected to deliver on the following :

  • Deliver an exceptionally high standard of five star luxury lifestyle service for every guest interaction.
  • Attitude, grooming standard, body language and tone need to be positive, supportive and on brand at all times.
  • You are expected to deliver service to your full potential when you are here.
  • You’re expected to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of all areas at all times.
  • You are also expected to carry out other duties that may be required to ensure the overall hotel operation is properly maintained to provide a total guest experience.
