Position Summary

As a Housekeeping Supervisor at St Pancras you are responsible for the supervising of the room attendants and laundry team.

You’ll need to know your stuff :

Keeps the Housekeeping team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.

Ensures guestrooms, public space and ambassador areas are cleaned according to operating standards.

Ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.

Establishes goals and objectives for all areas of responsibility.

Directs staff to strive for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.

Initiates and maintains an effective inspection program including rooms; public areas; ambassador work and locker areas;

storage areas; recreation areas; laundry areas; garage and grounds.

Develops hotel general cleaning schedule and manages execution of work.

Understands and communicates to staff the operating and maintenance procedures of all departmental equipment.

Supervises and approves the budgeting and ordering of guestroom and cleaning supplies.

To be aware of hotel’s layout and facilities.

Ensure all rooms correspond with lists given, reporting any discrepancies immediately to housekeeper.

Clean every room to the highest standards.

Reports any maintenance issues immediately

Complies with COSHH and Health and Safety Standards.

Follows the lost property procedures.

Complies with Brand Standards when cleaning and getting each room ready for the guest arrival.

You’ll be expected to deliver on the following :

Deliver an exceptionally high standard of five star luxury lifestyle service for every guest interaction.

Attitude, grooming standard, body language and tone need to be positive, supportive and on brand at all times.

You are expected to deliver service to your full potential when you are here.

You’re expected to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards of all areas at all times.

You are also expected to carry out other duties that may be required to ensure the overall hotel operation is properly maintained to provide a total guest experience.
