What will you do?

  • Execute strategic and tactical marketing plans to grow the segment with a focus on the assigned market, as well as gain share (vs.
  • competition), based on customer / market insights

  • Identify market opportunities and devise strategies and tactics to ensure successful sales operations
  • Coordinate timing of marketing activities to maximize impact and overall objectives
  • Manage the content development process of marketing materials and all marketing-related programmes and projects
  • Gather data, analyze data and turn data into a strategy that is actionable for sales and marketing
  • Develop and refine product messages and materials for sales presentations
  • Provide input at the global level regarding product launches & prepare and implement launch plans
  • Provide expert advice / counsel relating to the product line and act as the point person between multiple groups (e.g.
  • global product management / development, medical & scientific affairs, digital marketing and regulatory)

  • Keep abreast of developments with the customer (mindset, decision making, etc.) in the market, as they impact and apply to Thermo Fisher’s strategic roadmap
  • Ensure that every marketing project meets all regulatory compliance policy requirements
  • Who we are looking for :

    Essential :

  • Degree in a Life Science, with knowledge and experience of autoimmunity & allergy
  • Several years’ marketing experience within the healthcare industry, ideally clinical diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
  • Experience in marketing / selling to hospital pathology departments and an understanding of the buying structure of the NHS health system
  • Experience leading the implementation of marketing projects from unmet need exploration through to campaign development and ultimate tactical execution
  • Strong planning, project management & analytical skills, combined with the ability to utilize customer insights data, draw conclusions / implications, and translate into comprehensive strategies and business decision recommendations
  • Experience in segmentation, targeting, and positioning to successfully drive growth
  • Customer-focussed mindset
  • Able to operate independently, to take initiative and be resourceful
  • Fluent in English (verbal & written); additional European languages a plus
  • Willing and able to travel up to 30% per month (c.1 day per week), both domestic and international, including some overnight stays
  • Preferred :

  • Commercial experience that includes : development & implementation of commercial diagnostics strategies and tactics, contract management, capital equipment & reagent sales to academic, hospital and reference laboratories
  • Experience using or other CRM for forecast management, sales execution and marketing campaigns
