This privately owned Pub has built up an excellent reputation and is looking for a Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef to continue these standards.
110 seats inside plus large outside area, using all fresh produce you will be working alongside a kitchen team of 2.
Assist the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and to take over in Head Chef's absence.
Work across all sections of the kitchen, providing support and guidance where needed.
Adopt and maintain the strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
Ensure consistent quality through a hands on approach to prep and service.
Running the kitchen in the head chef’s absence.
To be from an all fresh background.
Have excellent time keeping, personal and man management skills.
Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a pub environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Strict adherence to food hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
