This privately owned Pub has built up an excellent reputation and is looking for a Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef to continue these standards.

110 seats inside plus large outside area, using all fresh produce you will be working alongside a kitchen team of 2.

  • Assist the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and to take over in Head Chef's absence.
  • Work across all sections of the kitchen, providing support and guidance where needed.
  • Adopt and maintain the strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Ensure consistent quality through a hands on approach to prep and service.
  • Running the kitchen in the head chef’s absence.
  • To be from an all fresh background.
  • Have excellent time keeping, personal and man management skills.
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a pub environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strict adherence to food hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
