Salary up to £40,000 pa plus benefits (dependent on Skills and Experience) We are an established and growing IT business looking for a keen and personable IT support engineer to join our team serving the education and small business sectors.

We are looking for someone with current 2 nd or 3 rd l ine experience looking to progress to the next stage of their career.

You must have a desire to learn new skills and undertake training. You must be a team player with excellent communication and problem solving skills.

You will be responsible for delivering on-site ICT support to our customers focussed on delivering our core values of quality, affordability, reliability and simplicity.

Our regular working hours are 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm, Monday to Friday; however, all staff are expected to be flexible in their working pattern in order to respond to customer needs and business demands.

This may include occasional, mutually agreed, out of hours work. site , front-line support to a wide range of customers Supporting, integrating and maintaining ICT systems Effective project management Supporting customers in strategic ICT investment planning Installation, configuration and set up of ICT hardware including handling, delivery and repair.

This may include physical installation both indoor and outdoor and the use of appropriate tools and equipment Installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance of software and applications Working with, improving and drafting detailed documentation and procedures We are looking for someone with relevant experience and skills in these key areas : Excellent Customer Service 2 nd or 3 rd line Windows Server and Desktop Support Microsoft Office 2016 application support Email support and implementation (Microsoft Exchange / Office 365) Advanced Networking implementation and support TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP , Routing, Switching and Firewalls etc.

Advanced Windows Server configuration , including ADDS, DFS, NPS, WDS, ADFS. Systems administration with Powershell / Cloudshell scripting.

MDM Solutions ( e.g. Cisco Meraki, Microsoft InTune ) Managed Wireless Implementation and Support ( e.g. Fortinet and Ruckus) Developing Project / Systems d ocumentation and training material Software i nstallation / deployment In addition, experience in any of the following areas would be desirable : Design of managed wired and wireless network infrastructure Implementation and s upport of VoIP, video conferencing and IP CCTV systems ( e.

g. Asterisk PBX, Grandstream , Ubiquiti) Integrating and delivering effective Cloud and SaaS solutions ( e.g. Office 365, MS Azure, AWS) Windows Server b ackup solutions SQL Server and SSMS Project or budget m anagement Supporting, training and developing junior colleagues Microsoft Hyper-
