Key Responsibilities

In this important Caretaker role, your day-to-day activities will include taking deliveries, carrying emergency cleaning as required, conducting adjustments and maintenance, reporting building maintenance issues to the office team, locking and unlocking of grounds, managing site security, carrying out fire and safety precautions across the site, liaise with the facilities teams regarding work progress, and work closely with subcontractors.

The role will include general building maintenance duties to ensure the site meets the required standard such as : low level lamp changing, minor joinery repairs, minor plumbing repairs, grounds maintenance such as litter picking / snow clearing / gritting, portering duties, machine cleaning, and other tasks relative to the skill level of the role.

What do we need from you?

The ideal Caretaker candidate should have previous experience within a Maintenance, Caretaker or Porter role with a strong emphasis on delivering effective customer service.

You’ll engage with colleagues & the client in a positive manner and able to conduct any heavy lifting involved in line with the manual safety handling training, and also be able to produce paperwork and information to be used for reporting.
