Your Role at Ogilvy

The Talent Acquisition department at Ogilvy is a busy, fast-paced team that controls and drives internal recruitment across the business.

We’re responsible for conducting consultative talent search projects for all corners of the agency. We play a key role in driving Ogilvy’s wider aims round diversity and inclusion and talent attraction.

Your impact in this role will be far reaching. From ensuring that every single potential employee has the very best candidate experience from the get-go through to joining, to ensuring that our hiring managers are empowered and partnering, with the entire employee journey being connected and cohesive at every step of the way.

You will build a pipeline of talent for our key roles in Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations Sector and you will play a key role in continuing to define and implement our wider aims around diversity, inclusion and belonging at Ogilvy.

A big part of this role involves working collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition leadership team to own and develop the TA strategy across the agency.

You will need to be confident offering a fully consultative service to hiring managers.

A bit about you :

We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated experience or familiarity with

  • Recruiting & Pipelining actively working on recruitment briefs to source the best talent market in a timely manner and building a pipeline of talent to utilise in future.
  • Keep all internal documents around talent acquisition up to date and accurate.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition management to reduce external recruitment spend and increase the volume of direct / internal hires.
  • Play a key role in ensuring that Talent and hiring teams are keeping diversity and inclusion front of mind.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and agency leaders to understand their business and identify talent gaps and future talent needs
  • Partner with wider People team to provide recruitment support, market information and salary benchmarks
  • Collaborate with Ogilvy’s internal DI&B networks and champion recruitment for them
  • Taking full and detailed briefs including sourcing strategies, time-lines, key skills and person specs.
  • Demonstrate creativity in the application of recruitment strategies, tailoring them to the requirements of the business.
  • Manage candidate process and experience ensuring a positive interaction regardless of whether they get the job.
  • Occasionally you will be required to recruit outside your specialist verticals and provide short term relief to the wider team during busier periods
  • Full lifecycle recruiting, both perm, contract and freelance, post openings, source candidates, review CVs, ATS candidate management, screen applicants, manage interview process, gather feedback, conduct reference checks, provide salary recommendations, and present & negotiate offers.
  • Utilize innovative recruiting methods including social media sites, networking events, building partnerships, etc.
  • Organize & attend recruiting events, including job fairs, meet-ups, & networking events.
