What this role will entail
Our Business Development (Nations & Regions) is comprised of a network of 9 regional commercial teams based across the UK outside London.
The exciting challenge is to manage everything from airtime to trading deals and partnerships, and it comes with the freedom to explore new ideas to drive revenue growth, and the chance to develop award-
winning, successful partnerships with brands.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Controller to deliver our trading and commercial strategy outside London and outside Manchester, working hand in hand with the Trading team in London, galvanising a team and maximising revenue and share into ITV for our main agency deals as well as developing new innovative business partnerships with advertisers directly.
You will support the Trading Controller and Deputy on forecasting process / comms, auditing and analysis across agency and advertiser deals across our 8 regional offices outside Manchester.
You will drive a renewed commercial hunger into our trading and business partnerships team, supporting the Business Managers in day to day trading across regional offices, as well as working with Client Development Controller on business partnerships with key advertisers.

We are looking for a strong negotiator with a proven track record, who is tenacious and commercially hungry to spot opportunities, selling proactively and reactively at all times.
Being agile to listen and adapt, tailoring your approach to supercharge growth is key as well having strong ability to build strong relationships with customers as well as motivate and lead a team.
You're brave, innovative and driven individual with creative ideas and you are looking for a company where you have a platform for your ideas.
The successful candidate will have the following characteristics :
Strong negotiator with proven track record in a TV / Media / Digital environment
Comprehensive knowledge of TV at all levels incl trading, and of other media
Good analytical reporting and planning skills
Confidence to challenge the norm, not be risk averse and break new ground
Strong communication skills and presentation skills.
Commercial awareness in delivering revenue and client target
Creative and commercial approach bringing fresh thinking and ideas
Entrepreneurial spirit to work angles and seize opportunities
Good use of MS office
