We are looking for a dynamic fundraising professional to help us promote our organisation to individuals and bodies who will want to help invest in our museums, Our learning, our community and our research activities.
The post is offered for 18 months starting in June / July 2018.
The post is Full -Time (A flexible working pattern will be considered).
The salary for the post is £30,000, plus 30 days AL (incl.
BH) + Benefits.
The post reports directly to the Chief Executive of the Society and sits within the senior management team.
The post holder will work alongside our museums, commercial, research, fundraising and membership staff and the post holder will also have to develop and support a fundraising group of trustees and co-opted members.
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs of the charitable sector, have strong skills in using social media and online fundraising as well as effective use and knowledge of developing and using databases for fundraising purposes.
Although the role is primarily focused on non-grant aided fundraising initiatives you will be required to help support the development of grant funded projects, so experience in this area will be strongly welcomed.
