Summary There are two key elements to this role; the main part of the role will involve providing administrative support to the leisure team, whilst the second is to provide RFP coordination and support to the French / Benelux Global Sales Account Director covering the corporate accounts whilst the Italian / Spanish Account Director is on maternity leave.
The incumbent will work with both franchisees and clients, to assist the team in their drive to deliver both opportunity and revenues through WHG systems.
They will receive and process all group enquiries using the Go Leads system and maintain statistics for the Leisure business segment in order to create reporting and projections.
They will maintain contact with our properties globally to manage leads and enquiries and work with the account managers and directors to administrate the sales cycle in order to increase the volume of leads and enquiries which can be followedThey will manage and maintain all RFP co-
ordination for the Leisure team to ensure that all RFPs are properly accepted, reviewed, distributed, tracked and completed.
This activity will require the usage of our internal system Lanyon and will significantly impact the overall revenue generation of the EMEA Leisure Sales team.
Complexity The level of decision making authority in this role is moderate depending on the task. Most tasks will be either regular ongoing / weekly / monthly etc or should be requested with a full brief.
RFP deadlines and content are the responsibility of each Sales Director, as are the communications with the clients regarding acceptances, declines and rate loading of each account.
The level of autonomy regarding decision making is moderate and as this is an office based role, autonomy on a day to day basis is minimal.
The impact of decisions will be the same as those of other members of the team, with also the same level of responsibility.
This role does not have any supervisory responsibilities attached to it. Scope / Financial Responsibility Although this position does not carry a financial target, all of their activities contribute to the revenue making capability of the Leisure Sales group in EMEA, therefore their role will have a direct impact on the revenue generation of the global sales team.
This position does not manage a cost center, it is the responsibility of the Global Sales Administrator and RFP Specialist to manage their expenses accordingly.
All employees must review costs of sale and ROI for all business trips; marketing opportunities and overall spend in their region.
