The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outcome Specialist in our Southern Point of Care team. It is for highly motivated person with experience of primary care patient pathways and / or service development reporting to the Regional Business Manager, South, Point of Care.

Territory : Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, London, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex and Wiltshire.

You will join a dynamic and specialised sales team and your role will be managing complex relationships across the various Primary Care Organisations.

You will have significant responsibility in promoting the Roche portfolio, generating new business and generating guidelines that positively support our market position.

You will need to partner with primary care customers at all levels from Strategic Network Managers, Commissioners and Procurement, Clinical leads, and Consultants, to demonstrate the benefits of POC on the whole healthcare system.

You will also work closely with the Community and Hospital PoC Sales Specialists in your region to drive new business and deliver your business plans.

This unique position offers you full autonomy within your territory to drive and deliver your business plans.

Who you are

You are a strategic thinker who wants to help implement processes that lead to the best outcomes for patients. Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be able to demonstrate practical examples of driving service transformation in primary care and an in-

depth understanding of Healthcare strategy and direction and the implications for Point of Care business. You might be improving patient pathways within a CCG or GP Federation or you are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in UK POC testing market.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a clear understanding of the local NHS environment and drivers and the ability to demonstrate the following :

  • Relationship building with key stakeholders and decision makers at all levels

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the credibility to converse with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with a high level of autonomy

  • You are dynamic, hardworking and self-reliant. With a high level of organisation skills, you have the ability to work independently and are able to prioritise tasks in order to maximise productivity.

    You are able to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
