About the Opportunity

Due to the continued success of Jacobs’ Flood Modeller software, we are seeking a motivated and result-oriented person who is looking to progress their digital marketing career within a B2B software environment.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager for the Flood Modeller product, you will be responsible for all aspects of digital marketing including our website, SEO, PPC, digital advertising, email marketing as well as social media.

This Digital Marketing Executive role will sit in Jacobs’ Flood Modeller product team.

Responsibilities include :

  • Drive the digital marketing process from end to end, and create best practice, acting as a digital marketing thought leader
  • Drive new digital marketing strategies to improve lead generation and conversion such as Account Based Marketing strategies and remarketing activities
  • Own the digital marketing funnels, considering consumer behaviour and optimised digital touch points, working across the full customer journey website, landing pages, organic search, paid search (Google Ads), display advertising, automated email marketing (Pardot), paid campaigns, social media and CRM (Salesforce)
  • Manage Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), webinars and more
  • Reporting on digital KPIs and campaign success, using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, etc
  • Responsible for website development using CMS (Wix), with basic HTML updates occasionally required (iFrames)
  • Own digital marketing production, optimisation, and integration, working closely with product, sales, and services teams within Flood Modeller, as well as colleagues across the wider business
  • Other adhoc general marketing activities e.g. events and conferences, graphic design (InDesign, Photoshop), copy writing, etc.

  • Be comfortable working as part of a small dynamic team, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be proactive and a self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent reporting, presentation, and analytical skills, with ability to educate others on the digital marketing process recommending new ideas
  • Skilled in effective digital marketing campaigns, social media, SEO, SEM, CRO, content marketing, email marketing, website development and lead generation strategies
  • Good understanding and experience of the product marketing lifecycle, conversion funnel, digital marketing and communications, lead generation process and customer touch points
  • Enjoyment in developing high-quality content, have an eye for creativity, and have an aptitude to rapidly learn new concepts and skills
  • Curiosity to try new ways of working, technologies, processes, and strategic marketing tactics
