Band 7 Deputy Team Manager (IAPT)

Healthy Minds, the Buckinghamshire Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service, is looking to recruit a Deputy Team Manager on a fixed term contract for a period of up to 12 months.

This may suit someone already in a Band 7 role who would like to broaden their experience or someone in a Band 6 role who is seeking an opportunity to take on additional responsibility.

Healthy Minds is a nationally recognised, high-performing and innovative IAPT service supporting around 10,000 people every year to manage their common mental health difficulties, such as anxiety and depression.

We offer a range of psychological and employment interventions to adults over the age of 18 across the county.

Your management skills will help us develop and lead the team, ensure we provide a responsive, high-quality service for our patients and meet our data collection requirements.

You will be expected to work collaboratively and liaise closely with senior colleagues in the service as well as external stakeholders.

You will work as part of our operational team, to provide effective leadership, management of staff and resources, and operational management related to the provision of the service.

Our service has around 200 staff including Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), High-Intensity therapists (HIs), referral coordinators, employment advisors, managers and administrators.

A team of clinical supervisors and managers support staff to deliver the service effectively and safely.

Staff wellbeing is a top priority for us. We have a very active, award-winning, wellbeing team within the service and work hard to ensure that a supportive, collaborative and productive culture is in place.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, forward-thinking, has plenty of enthusiasm and motivation, and works well in a team.

You will need experience of working in or managing mental health services and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills are essential.

If you think you have the qualities we’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
