A successful Local Authority based in East London is seeking a highly skilled Information Governance Manager to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate would have experience leading and developing an effective Information Governance within a public sector organisation.
Your duties will include :
use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2005
To lead the changes necessary to ensure that the Council will be compliant with the general data protection regulation
You must also have excellent communication skills, be capable of working under pressure, demonstrate good self-organisation, political sensitivity and attention to detail, be able to work effectively in a team and have a commitment to flexibility.
It is desirable if you have experience of FOI casework will be required for these posts.
