The post holder is required to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service as directed by policies and procedures which are monitored by Catering Manager.
Catering Supervisor will work between the kitchen, dining room, retail outlet and wards. Day to Day supervision of catering assistants, ensure they comply with Food Safety regulations & Health and Safety regulations, adhere to safe working practices.
Implement duty rota and complete staff payroll information, instruct and manage patient food ordering from ward level to CFPU.
Responsible for generating all orders from food to uniforms, ensuring these are delivered and checked. Report mechanical & structure failures relating to catering equipment and fabric within the building.
Ensure catering assistants undertake their duties in compliance with infection control and give advice and guidance where necessary.
The shift pattern for this post is 16.00 to 19.30, Mon to Fri (3.5hrs per shift)
